Dr. Brian Anderson graduated from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts with a degree in Arts and Sciences. Upon graduation, he began a career in advertising and soon realized that this was not his passion. As someone with interest in the health care industry and who has always liked helping people, Dr. Anderson became inspired to become a Chiropractic Physician.

He saw firsthand how one person’s life could make a huge difference for someone else. People who are in pain and have a poor quality of life can be helped without drugs, surgery or any other invasive treatment.

It was at this point that Dr. Anderson decided to attend Parker University in Dallas, Texas to pursue his dream of helping people.

Following his training in Dallas, Dr. Anderson returned to his home state of New Jersey to open his own practice in Summit. Since opening his practice, Dr. Anderson has always focused on treating patients with complex chronic conditions involving the nervous system.

Since graduating with his Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Anderson has spent hundreds of hours of post-graduate training in Functional Medicine, Functional Endocrinology, Functional Blood Chemistry and Nutrition, Functional Neurology, Neuronal Conduction Studies, Laserology and Auriculotherapy. Recently, Dr. Anderson has become Board Certified in Integrative Medicine and is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician specializing in chronic conditions linked to the nervous system.

Today he sees patients who are dealing with Peripheral Neuropathy, Fibromyalgia, Vertigo, Dizziness, Balance Issues, Auto-immune conditions, Thyroid Disorders, Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy, ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Migraines, Restless Leg Syndrome, Post-Surgical Backs, all varieties of disc problems and Stenosis, Chronic Fatigue, along with other Chronic Pain syndromes, while sustaining musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Anderson draws from years of experience and educational background, making him especially capable and excited to embrace the chronic condition patient. The individual experience of being a patient at Premier Health of Summit begins with one of the most extensive evaluations available. A thorough patient history as well as an understanding of patient treatment goals is vital to the initial evaluation.

Once the analysis is finished and the patient is accepted into our program, Dr. Anderson spends a considerable amount of time poring over the patient history, exam findings, prior test results, blood work and patient end goals to develop a drug-free, neurologic, metabolic, and/or musculoskeletal (or a combined, multi-faceted) approach to rectify or reduce the underlying cause of symptoms.

That concept bears repeating – the goal of care is not just to correct symptoms – it is, wherever possible, to determine and relieve the underlying complication, or mechanism of the symptoms so they may be resolved permanently or greatly reduced. Part of the care includes home program methods that are focused on self-care, to greatly enhance improvement.

This is truly a total embodiment of care as it involves reviewing all systems of the body and how they have ceased to integrate and “balance,” therefore creating the patient’s unique set of symptoms.

The mechanisms for chronic conditions are as distinct and intricate as the patients themselves. Dr. Anderson feels the typical diagnosis is a little too general for his purposes and he digs very deeply into what the patient is experiencing, and which areas need improvement. With that in mind, he hopes to continue to build and offer the community a facility where patients receive evaluations and treatments based on their specific mechanisms and symptoms, not just their medical diagnosis.

Dr. Anderson feels incredibly blessed to be able to do this work and is grateful to have the ability to expand his knowledge of life and people. He is thankful every day to wake up and do what he loves: assisting people to get better. It is his ambition and his commitment.

He lives in Chatham, New Jersey with his wife, Lise and their four children: Colin, Lila, Ellie and Celia. As a family, they devote much of their time to family activities, and truly enjoy traveling together.

Welcome to our non-surgical, drug-free approach to life!
